Podgatunek o niedostatecznie poznanym rozsiedleniu, niedawno opisany z Tatr słowackich i Zakopanego. Wymagania ekologiczne słabo poznane, na Babiej Górze znajdowany w lecie nad potokami na wysokości 700-900 m n.p.m. (J. Pawłowski 1967).
