Gatunek o niedostatecznie poznany rozsiedleniu. Opisany ze Śląska, notowany przed przeszło 70 laty z Siedmiogrodu. Wymagania ekologiczne i bionomia tego gatunku nie są znane. Znajdowany pod leżącymi na ziemi zmurszałymi i pleśniejącymi gałęziami sosny.
