Rzadko i sporadycznie spotykany gatunek w południowej i wschodniej Europie oraz południowo-wschodniej części środkowej Europy. Z Polski wykazany na podstawie pojedynczych okazów znalezionych w napływkach i w na wpół wyschniętym rowie. Od przeszło 60 lat więcej nie poławiany i współcześnie występowanie jego u nas winno być potwierdzone nowymi materiałami.
